LET'S WORK TOGETHER!

Your save the dates, invitations and day-of papers should all reflect your wedding style and aesthetic. Whether it's a simple monogramed invitation with a reply card and envelope or a hand-painted venue illustration, wrapped in silk ribbon, with an envelope liner and a wax seal, I know I can bring your whole vision together. Your invitation WILL become a keepsake that you cherish for years.

The average Viri Lovely Designs couple spends $3,000-$6,000 on their entire wedding suite and day-of paper goods but we work with many varying budgets.

PROCESS

MY PROCESS

STEP 1:

CONSULTATION

I recommend beginning your invitation process about 9 to 12 months before your big day. If your wedding day is sooner, don't worry! Let's see what we can work out!

I love meeting face-to-face with potential clients, sharing samples of past work, envelopes, wax seals and so much more but I also know that schedules and distance doesn't always allow for in-person meetings. We can Skype, have a phone call or email as well.

At the initial consultation, if you haven't already filled out a wedding questionnaire, I'll get a sense of your style, the items you may need and learn more about your vision for your big day.

Once we've narrowed down what you think you want, I'll work up a quote for you.*

*Please note that quotes are subject to change based on selections, quantities, etc.

STEP 2:

DESIGN

Depending on the complexity of your design, the design development will be anywhere from two to four weeks until receipt of your first proof.

Before design work can begin, I require a 50% nonrefundable deposit for custom invitations. I will also send over a contract for you to fill out. Don’t worry, it’s not scary. :) Please take a moment to thoughtfully count the number of items you will need for your big day. Remember, one invitation per household.

Once your deposit has been received and contract has been signed, the fun begins!!! I’ll design roughly three concepts based on the initial consultation and provide you with a digital proof for review. During this time, I allow for three rounds of revisions to one of the concepts. Each additional round of revisions will be billed at an hourly rate of $40/hr.

Once your invitation suite design has been finalized, you’ll receive a production agreement to sign off on as well as the remaining balance of your invoice. From here your items will move into production. Yay!

STEP 3:

PRODUCTION

Now that your invitation suite design has been finalized, your items are moved into production!

Your printing method will effect the length of time it takes for all of your paper goods to be completed. Flat printing takes two to four weeks while a process such as letterpress or foil stamping can take four to six weeks.

Once all items have been produced, they will be carefully packaged and shipped to you. You’ll receive a tracking number. Please allow five business days for delivery.

Once you receive your items, jump for joy and get those babies in the mail! It’s so exciting to hear when your guests have received your invitations and the RSVPs start rolling in!
